1. Important Information
Our services are designed for non-emergency, private healthcare. They are not a substitute for NHS services or your GP.
If you require urgent or emergency medical care, please contact your GP, NHS 111, or dial 999.
By booking an appointment or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
2. About Us
Hurst Menopause and Wellness Clinic is a private healthcare provider offering consultations and services including, but not limited to:
  • Menopause consultations
  • Women’s health assessments
  • Blood testing (phlebotomy)
  • Screening services
  • Follow-up consultations
We aim to provide care in line with best clinical practice and relevant UK guidance.
We operate under Versorium healthcare who are a CQC regulated organisation.  
3. Booking Appointments
  • Appointments can be booked via our website or by contacting us directly
  • Full payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed
  • A Booking Confirmation email will be sent, which includes:
    • Appointment details
    • Consultation link (for Online appointments)
    • Pre-appointment questionnaires
You must complete all required forms prior to your appointment. Failure to do so may result in cancellation.
We may contact you by email or telephone regarding your appointment.
4. Eligibility
  • You must be 18 years or older to use our services
  • We can only provide consultations to patients located within the United Kingdom at the time of the appointment due to clinical indemnity requirements
  • We reserve the right to decline appointments where it is not clinically appropriate or safe to proceed
GP Restriction:
We are unable to provide services to patients who are registered with Manor NHS GP Practice, Southwick. If this applies to you, please contact us prior to booking and we will aim to guide you towards an alternative provider.
5. Your Responsibilities
You agree to:
  • Provide accurate and complete medical information
  • Inform us of your NHS GP details, where possible, to support continuity of care
  • Be in a private, quiet environment for video consultations
  • Ensure you have a reliable internet or phone connection
Failure to provide accurate or complete information may impact your care and may result in termination of services.
6. Fees and Payment
  • All fees are listed on our website and are payable in GBP (£)
  • Payment must be made in advance unless otherwise agreed
  • We only accept card payments
Consultation fees cover the clinician’s time and expertise, regardless of outcome.
7. Cancellation and Rescheduling
We require at least 48 hours notice (Monday to Friday) if you wish to reschedule or cancel your appointment or procedure without charge.
  • For appointments on a Monday, we must receive notification before 11am on the preceding Thursday.
  • For cancellations with less than 24 hours notice or if you do not attend your appointment (missed appointment), a cancellation fee of 100% of the appointment charge at the self-pay rate will be charged.
  • For cancellations with more than 24 hours notice but less than 48 hours notice, a cancellation fee of 50% of the appointment charge at the self-pay rate will be charged.
Please note that most insurers will not cover a cancellation fee so you would be invoiced directly.
8. Late Attendance
  • If you are late, your appointment may be shortened
  • If there is insufficient time to safely complete the consultation, it will be treated as a missed appointment
  • No refunds will be provided in these circumstances
9. Remote Consultation Limitations
For video or telephone consultations:
  • You must ensure appropriate technology and connectivity
  • If technical issues prevent completion and we cannot reach you by phone, this will be treated as a missed appointment
10. Prescriptions and Medication
  • Consultation fees include issuing a prescription where clinically appropriate
  • Medication costs are not included and are payable directly to the pharmacy
We may:
  • Send prescriptions electronically to a pharmacy of your choice
  • Recommend partner pharmacies for dispensing and delivery
Repeat prescriptions outside of consultations may incur an additional fee.
11. Third-Party Services
We may refer you to third-party providers such as:
  • Pharmacies
  • Laboratories
  • Diagnostic services
These providers operate under their own terms and conditions. Hurst Menopause and Wellness Clinic is not responsible for their services or outcomes.
12. Privacy and Data Protection
Your personal data will be handled in accordance with UK data protection laws.
  • We only use your data to provide safe and effective care
  • We will not share your information without your consent, unless required by law or for your safety

13. Complaints

14. Limitation of Liability
We will provide services with reasonable care and skill.
However:
We are not responsible for outcomes beyond our control
We are not liable for indirect or unforeseen losses
Our total liability will not exceed the amount paid for the relevant services
Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death, personal injury, or legal obligations that cannot be excluded under UK law.
15. Termination of Services
We may refuse or stop providing services if:
  • It is not clinically appropriate
  • You provide false or incomplete information
  • There is abusive or inappropriate behaviour toward staff
  • Payment is not received

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time.
The latest version will always be available on our website. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any updates.
17. Intellectual property and acceptable use
